TRIBUTE TO CAROLYN PIETT
|
Carolyn Piett
of the Zorra Tug of War Club passed away on
March 31, 2008 as the result of a car accident on her way to
work. Carolyn had been involved with tug of war as a high school puller
with the Woodstock Collegiate Institute team.
She went on to join the Zorra Ladies team and was actively
involved in 2003, 2004 and 2005 with some sporadic involvement in more
recent years.

The final results for the Ontario Season are
now posted. The results for 2004,
2005, 2006
and 2007 are
also available from previous issues of this newsletter.

2008 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
|
| The tentative schedule
of events for 2008 is now available on-line. In addition to Ontario,
schedules are included for the Maritime Provinces, the United
States, International Events, World Police and
Firefighters Games and the Can-Am Police Games. |

REGISTRATION & WAIVER FORMS DUE MAY
18

| Packages containing the Team Waiver Agreement
Forms and the Event Waiver Forms for all approved events
will be distributed to the teams competing in the 2008 Schedule of
Events. All of these forms are to be completed and submitted
to the coordinator of events (Cheryl Eddy) by the first event of the season which
this year is May 18th at Thamesford. |
