CATOWA Schedule of Events for 2013

STRATFORD, ON April 10, 2013 -
Michelle Fear, Events Coordinator for the Canadian Tug-of-war Association, submitted today, the Schedule of Events for 2013.  In that report, she included the addition of two new competitive events, the "175th Baseball Anniversary" to be held in Beachville, ON on May 26th at 2:30 PM as well as the "Georgina Gathering" taking place on June 15th in Sutton, Ontario.

Michelle went on to report that there will be NO tug of war at the "Calithumpian Days" event in Thamesford, ON this year. In speaking with the event contact, she was told that because  the number of spectators has decreased over the past few years, the organizers are adding a few new events to try to bring spectator numbers up and therefore no longer have room for us to pull.  Michelle indicated that she will be in contact with the organizers again next year.
