The CATOWA COMMUNICATOR is currently undergoing some changes in its format and frequency of publication. Since its inauguration in July, 2003, the periodical has been published six times a year (every second month).

Due to the difficulties encountered in receiving articles from various sources and the volume of material sometimes rather sparse, particularly during the winter months, it was felt that it would be more meaningful to reduce the magazine's publication to four times a year.

One of the ideas being explored is to have the homepage updated on a continual basis as news breaks rather than waiting until the new issue is published every three months. Such headlines and their associated articles would remain on the homepage and would be included in that quarter's issue. At the beginning of the next quarter, the homepage would be cleared and a new bank of articles would be introduced as new stories break. The previous quarter's edition would then be moved to the "Back Issues" file.

Another idea has been suggested by several readers that we establish on-line forums where matters dealing with the sport could be discussed.

Readers are always encouraged to submit their ideas to the editor about how the periodical can be made more meaningful and any articles and photos that would be of interest to others, are always welcome.
